Eugene
Sandow probably the worlds first bodybuilder. (April 2, 1867
1925), born Friedrich Wilhelm Müller, was a
Prussian bodybuilder often referred to as the "Father of
Modern Bodybuilding".His audience was more fascinated by his
bulging muscles than by the amount of weight he was lifting,
so Sandow performed poses which he dubbed "muscle display
performances"... and the legendary strongman added these
displays in addition to his feats of strength with weights.
He also added chain breaking around-the-chest and other
amazing displays to his routine.
